Macatawa Legends is a spectacular 800- acre residential community that includes an 18-hole championship golf course, a 9-hole executive golf course, clubhouse, swimming pool and tennis courts. Approximately 650 home sites offer a range of living opportunities, from 2-acre estate lots to 5,000 square foot lots arranged in a traditional neighborhood design. RJM Design collaborated with golf course architect Ray Hearn and architect Wayne Visbeen to produce a master development plan for the golf course, residential community, and turn-of-the-century architectural standards. RJM Design also assisted with land use and zoning approvals, requiring the coordination of four separate township governments to approve one large, visionary master plan.

RJM Design has prepared landscape plans and specifications for several Holland Home facilities, including Breton Terrace, Trillium Woods, Pfeiffer Woods Drive, Faith Hospice and In The Woods. Each design concept focuses on integrating the built environment with the site's natural surrounding, as well as remaining sensitive to the needs of the elderly residents.

The Ravines Planned Unit Development - Kentwood, Michigan
This 298-acre mixed use development focused on creating a blend of residential and commercial opportunities while preserving the natural land systems and characteristics on site. Several residential products were included to diversify the neighborhood demographics and promote a higher quality of living for all residents. Pedestrian access and circulation also play a critical role in the development, with an intense network of sidewalks to community centers, village greens and other neighborhoods. Overall, the master plan encourages a broad mix of users and responsible design standards to create a high quality community development. In addition to preparing the master plan, RJM Design assisted with re-zoning the property and MDEQ permitting. The Ravines is now home to Bosgraaf's "Cobblestone at the Ravines" and Holland Home's newest retirement village Breton Ridge - In the Woods.
