Description: RJM Design collaborated with Porter Hills, a West Michigan senior living resource, for renovations to an existing pathway around restored wetlands adjacent to their Cook Valley Estates and Green House Homes communities. The asphalt pathway was replaced with concrete and seating areas were added at key viewing points. Overgrown plants were pruned to open sight-lines and accommodate new masses of wetland plants. The pathway is an important amenity for the communities and the renovations improve its ability to meet the resident's needs.
