One challenge of creating effective pedestrian trailways is providing safe and convenient connections throughout the trail, especially across busy urban roads. Providing an 80 foot crossing over M-66, this pedestrian bridge creates a safe and beautiful community landmark for the City of Ionia and for trail users. Designed in cooperation with Prein&Newhof, the bridge features natural stone siding and a signature metal archway in Ionia High School’s “Bulldog Blue” school color.  Check out Contech's article on the project to read more!
