The hydrological restoration of the Hersey River creates a unique opportunity for the Village of Hersey to develop approximately 5.5 acres for a village park. RJM Design's master plan includes the restoration of approximately 2 acres to natural grassy meadows, creation of a wooded pond, picnic areas, restroom building, playground, riverside beach and boat landing. Future pedestrian connections are proposed to the existing DA Blodgett Park and Michigan's White Pine Recreational Trail.
