Description: RJM Design worked with the owner and resort manager to develop an Illustrative Master Plan and Landscape Design Plan as well as provide plant installation support. Bocas Bali resort is located on an island, nestled in protected mangroves. The main goal was to develop a lush and colorful landscape that frames views of the natural environment. Development of the plant palette included documenting plant material at a Bocas del Toro botanical garden to be used in the planting design. The resort is scheduled to open November 2020.
